Tamsan Compressors is 40 years old in Turkey and around the World. In the USA, Tamsan has been running since 2015, and has quickly become the New Gold Standard! These units are as rugged as they are beautiful.
I have been disenchanted by the compressor manufacturers in the USA for a long time. Systematically denying warranties, requiring filter purchases to annually renew RFID access to microprocessors, customization of parts and threads, and the intentional false marketing of efficiency profiles are just some of the "norms" in the USA.
After much research, I decided to import a 20HP Tamsan compressor as a BETA test in the USA. I denied the unit maintenance, and I used it as a rental in horrible environments, but it never hiccuped. I purchased a couple more units, and put them in worse environments, still fantastic performance.
Now, in 2020, Tamsan USA is stocking compressors in the USA. I have had one issue on an air compressor, and the engineers at Tamsan provided unparalleled service support. They were open with me about the issue, corrected it, and gave the customer a replacement unit for the trouble it caused. As I am typing this, I still can't believe it.
At Industrial Compressor Solutions, we are still learning the Tamsan compressors, the team at Tamsan, and the team at Tamsan USA, but we are extremely excited about the future of these units in the USA. We can't wait for the official launch of Tamsan USA slated sometime in 2020.
